Paul da Silva is a songwriter and musician from London, used his guitar and his voice as vehicles of expression. Now in Portugal promoting his new record, Paul has filled concerts in venues such as Aula Magna (supporting The Script), Casa da Musica and many more. Already compared to having flashes of Jeff Buckley and Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), and a musical style “(…) like crushed glass wrapped in velvet (…)” Paul Da Silva gives us plenty to write home about.
Between the rock and roll’s culture of tea and red, straying from the rule of writing mundane Rock/Pop songs, Paul presents us with a new record complete with the best of British rock from the last 30 years and the noticeable capacity of this singer and songwriter to express himself in both the Camoes language as in the Shakespeare’s. ‘Chamas’ and ‘News’ are the debut singles and already airplay both on main radio and TV throughout Portugal.
