bowie cam was a quick and fun adaptation of face tracking code from openframeworks for a david bowie party.

lighting at the venue was a real challenge, so had to set up a diffused lamp to illuminate the space in front of the camera. even then the face tracking was only working to about 20% of its accuracy as it would in normal lighting conditions.

good thing to come out of the poor lighting was that people were able to swap their bowie masks as these guys in the video figured out.
