Alfred is slowly restoring his old, 1934 Austin London taxi, so he can take it 2500 miles across the US to surprise his once love, and take one last ride. In the 1950's she and Alfred drove the taxi 38,000 miles around the world.

In this short video, we see some of the welding and grinding work that was done on the engine's intake manifold. After sitting unused for over 40 years, the manifold, and many other of the engine components are pitted and in some cases with surface rust.
