Carmel Valley is located in Northern San Diego and is situated in a area that allows for its residents a coastal living lifestyle. Literally minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in California, Carmel Valley is a great place to not only spend your summers but to live year round. There is no other comparison to the days that are spent working, living and playing in our community and if you talk to any local resident, they will tell you that this place is a great place to raise a family. The community is known for some of the best schools in the Nation, and for active lifestyles.
It is comprised of commercial buildings, residential units and other business buildings including restaurants and hotels. Carmel Valley offers a diverse environment and people. The history of its name and location stems back to the Carmelite Sisters of Mercy, who established and ran a dairy farm and monastery in the early 1900's.
Imagine if we could create a place where the community could 1) share stories that inspire, 2) create projects that bring the community together to demonstrate compassion, and 3) unite in joint efforts to create an even better community to serve as an example to the rest of the Country. That is what Carmel Valley Life is all about. In addition, we hope to create a movement that will impact our community in a positive way by creating a resourceful site of valuable content that is managed and run by its community members. The belief is that the more connected a community is, the better quality of life it can provide its members, and the stronger it will become as a whole.
