Ever stubbornly resolved 'to do things the hard way', despite your better judgement? You might justify the slog with an expression such as "No pain, No gain"(?). You might never drop a point in a debate - out of sheer 'bloody-mindedness', even though you're exhausted (and there's no point). This character represents the struggle to maintain control, keep obstinate and exhaust yourself when you've decided the ground you'll travel will be more than a little 'uneven' - or perhaps, its just subject to others' control; The will to continue has to be yours. It's ceaseless - and your persistence requires you to embrace the potential humiliation. Possibly, you thrive on it. Is this you? Is this you sometimes? Does it remind you of someone you know?
