2 days of film (1 hour first day at snow, 3 hrs at lake), first day i just could do 20 minutes of tape due bad weather conditions, and the second day i did 25 more minutes of tape at the lake.
was fun, but not quite done what i would wanted, anyway it is ok.

Made with sony V1U and music by the lovely Trentemøller.

Places: Embalse del yeso, Laguna Aculeo, Santiago, Chile.

Saw this about 3 months ago and now again and wow!!
It is like looking at a moving painting. Reminds me of the film Baraka which is one of my all time favorite! What kind of setting did u use to shoot this on the V1U? Looks just like film. The imagery is plainly superb!! A pleasure to look at. Beautiful, gorgeous work!

thanks a lot for the comment, Baraka is one film i've been recommended tho..
i dont really know which setting were... since the camera is borrowed at school, and i dont really remember if i did much correction at the camera, most of that i did it in post... which was only color correction at premiere. to desaturate and contrast a little bit.
there still a lot of shots without post... i guess that day i was inspired but watching my own comment i wasnt very happy in the moment... hehe
thanks again for the nice words

Hey I am just calling it as I see it..as a matter of fact I wish I had a backdrop to play your film on a loop against the video's music or other relaxing music I own. Looking at this motivates me to do work others find relaxing and at the same time entertaining by the details.

  • Hi Pablo!
It would be a clever idea to send to the managemant of Trentemoller. (maY the low-res version first)
I'm sure that thay would like it. The video is just perfectly reflects the feelings of the song the quality is really high and the style is really what they need in minimal songs.
So hope you will try it good luck!
