Everyday, Alex, his team, and Rangers from the Kenya Wildlife Services go out in the Kenyan bush to track poachers. The recover snares (traps), dead animals, diffuse traps, set ambushes. They also educate the villagers and poachers on the urgency of conserving their wildlife. At this time, one elephant is killed nearly everyday, and thousands of antelopes are killed for their meat to be sold illegally. These guardians risk their life for a meager salary to protect their country's assets and secure the future of their children.
This short clip is an interview of an ex-poacher by Alex Kamau, a member of the anti-poaching team.
