BAPTISM – Karl Branson Jensen, son of Jay & Amanda Jensen, is received into the kingdom of God’s grace by the washing of water and the Word in this morning’s second service.

VOTERS MEETING NOTES
Transfers of membership in and out were approved as well as removals of a number of individuals who have not responded to our efforts. Stewardship-Evangelism Committee will continue this labor of love. Nominating Committee was approved (Randy Miller, Kevin Stratman, Paul Wittmershaus). Voters approved six additional positions on the Finance Committee for the new year to handle the counting of the offerings on Sunday mornings as a number of our counting volunteers are “retiring.” Our thanks to all our counters for their faithful work. Budget for 2013 was adopted – an annual net budget of $419,680.96 (compared to $412,277.90 in 2012). This net budget does not include the projected $23,000.00 in fees paid each year by parents of our students). Thus a weekly net budget for 2013 will be $8,070.79.

DONATIONS of cash or non-perishable food items will be received this year on three Sundays (starting next Sunday) November 4, 11, 18 for the local food pantry.

FINANCE COMMITTEE meets Monday, Nov. 19, 6:30 p.m. downstairs to prepare offering envelopes for 2013.
