Jeff Cruz is pleased to reveal his latest project, entitled: "100 Years 100 Faces of the Stampede". This work, was a ten day journey of finding 100 interesting faces within the Stampede grounds during the 100 year anniversary of the festival.

The project came to him when he wanted to somehow incorporate Calgary's pride of the 100th Stampede, street photography and studio portraiture, all in one. Armed with only one camera, one lens and sitting stool he is able to create compelling portraits of everyday people at the Stampede.

"All these people have a story to tell. When I talk with them and get them to reveal their story I learn so much. The Stampede is a place where everyone can join in and celebrate as one culture."

"100 Years 100 Faces" will be part of the 2013 Calgary / Banff Exposure Photography Festival. The exhibit will be displayed from January 28th to February 17th, 2013. The opening night is February 1st, 2013 and is open to the public.
