A Journey Through Malaysia (also: "Eerste Lustrumreis Concorde") is a trip to Sabah (Malaysian Borneo) & Kuala Lumpur and took place Augustus 28 to September 12 in 2004.

In just two weeks, we saw Sea Turtles lay their eggs at Turtle Island (Pulau Selingan), spotted wild Orangutans, Proboscis Monkeys, Varans, Snakes, Scorpions, Crocodiles and lots of other animals at the jungles of Sukau, visited Sandakan, Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary and the Tip of Borneo, paid a lot to see a Rafflesia, slept in a Longhouse in Kudat, went Rafting, ate Sea Cucumber in Kota Kinabalu, did a Canopy Walk and chilled out in the Poring Hot Springs in Kinabalu Park, climbed to the summit of Mt. Kinabalu (Low's Peak, 4,095.2m/13,435.7ft above sea level), found Nemo (the Clown Fish) and some less friendly looking Stone Fishes and Barracudas while snorkeling at the Coral Reefs in Manukan Island's waters and finally saw Sven Vath perform at a party in Zouk Club, Kuala Lumpur.
Unfortunately, not everybody had a digital camera in his pocket back then and using them for filming wasn't really into our systems yet, so we didn't capture it all on video. I still think the available footage that I used for this compilation gives a pretty decent overview of the trip. I do not recommend eating the Durian fruit by the way...

The music I used in this video is You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' by The Righteous Brothers.
