Perfect day for a waterfall hike, when we started it was raining, so we spent talking to AT trail backpackers at Neels Gap, they were waiting for the rain to stop. When the rain seemed to stop we headed to Helton Creek Falls, less than 2 miles from Neels Gap, surprised with a lot of people at the waterfalls. Then we headed to Vogel State Park to see Trahlyta Falls, abundance of water made the waterfall look pretty... and where are we headed next... Brasstown Bald, hiked the half mile from the Parking lot to the visitor center, we couldn't see a thing hahaha but we walked up to the deck at 4,825ft well... that's what it said on my Garmin GPS, when we went down we spoke to couple of rangers, showed us the Geodetic Marker at Brasstown Bald, the weird thing was that the marker was TVA (Tennessee Valley Association) TVA? here in Georgia? as usual on the way back, the sun came out... looking forward to the next Mystery Waterfall Hike.
