I programed a couple of real time animations with QC tonight. This thing is mesmerizing. You can do so much with 35 pixels.

    so you have one big LED for each cell? Whats the cost of parts for the whole thing?

    Here's a different approach - using translucent cells to average the output of a regular LCD display: jasoneppink.com/pixelator/

    Well, the cost for this specific system is REALLY high, but I juts happened to have the leds and controller from another project sitting there and wanted to play.
    Yes I remember this translucent cell, it is a brilliant idea.

    Couple hundred what? According to my sense for price, this thing would be max 100 usd, excluding the time it took to make it. Let's say the box 10$ arduino or something like it would be around 30$ LED's 35$ and everything else wouldn't be much more. Or am i wrong?

    QC is mesmerising on it's own. this is very nice work. I can make a much faster comp based on the plugin I originally see you the link for. Franz says so anyhow.
