90. Yosemite May Lake, 6/19/09

With all the wet and cold weather we have had it has kept the snow pack around a little longer. There is still plenty of snow and wet trails up in Yosemite's High Country.
Here are some shots of May Lake, 9,270 feet (2,825 meters), showing all the snow left around the lake and the snow at the High Sierra Camp.
The sound you hear on the May Lake pan is a waterfall on the other side and the sounds you hear on the camp shots are a marmot chewing on a building.
