Jaimes is a design researcher & strategist and principal of Connected Futures. His work helps to bring innovative products and services into existence by tracing the connections between present values and future use, with a particular interest in product/service ecologies or platforms.

He started his career on the web in the '90s when that meant doing a little of everything, took a detour through photography, before bringing his interest in people and technology together working for pioneering service design studio Live|work where he was Head of Research between 2009 and 2010. He has a BA in Sociology and an MA in Social Research from Goldsmiths.

As Head of Research at Live|work, Jaimes worked for a wide-range of clients including Orange, NHS, BBC, Norwich Union, Experian, Volkswagen and Faber&Faber and has since worked with clients such as Channel4, Johnson&Johnson, Red Bull, Jardine Lloyd Thompson and the Charities Aid Foundation.
