Interscope requested that we come up with an iconic character that the band can use a’la Iron Maiden’s Eddie. After slamming our hand in a car door for a couple weeks we fleshed out the character and thus, the Bastard was born and his battle with the Bots has begun.

    If I play it in HD it's choppy for me as well but it's the same with all the vimeo videos. Flash and OS X don't work so well together.

    The illustrations in this are kick-ass. Very nice work by Ray Frenden. Side note: Choppiest playback ever!! I think Motherland should post an alternate version (1280x720).

    Thanks Nat. We'll look into the choppy playback. I was under the impression that Vimeo compressed everything the same and the version posted has been compressed to 1280x720 by Vimeo. We'll try again and see.
