Prosthetic Golf is an attempt at creating a haptic controls which brings the analog richness of a golf swing.
Inspired by Pit Green Micro Golf and how well a real golfer’s motions seemed to be translated into a figurine we replicate that toy with motors and a custom arduino board. We figured that the core of the experience would be the players' swing - replicated by hacing a haptic experience in the control that adds a dimension of mastering the swing. The player controls the position of the golfer’s arm by applying pressure to the lever that works against the fingers with a force relative to the power setting on the slider.
