We can see a magnificient innocent girl at the beginning of the short movie, dressed in white, and with some black stains on her face. Even if these look ugly and even maybe disturbing to us, she doesn't seem to matter about them. On the contrary, she cares a lot about her environment (smelling the parfum of her flowers, wetting them, and so on). But this is going to change very soon...
At one moment, she stumbels and breaks a flower vase. When wanting to clean up her mess, she discovers a small, unknown, light-reflecting object. In fact, a mirror.
And this new discovery will quickly lead her to discover her own beauty...and, like Narcisse, forget everything else around her.
This short movie is a surrealist story about beauty and especially narcissism and it's consequences. It is mainly inspired by the ancient greek myth about "Narcisse". Many (classical) symbolic objects (flowers, mirror...) are supposed to represent the paradigm of beauty.
Finally this short movie is supposed to be a critisism against artificial, self-obsessed people. People who care too much about themselves can not appreciate their environment's beauty anymore. This aspect is also represented in this short movie through the continual degradation of the environment.
