another Test i did between the Canon 5Dmk2 and the HVX200 with the Letus.
Both with similar F-Stop and shutter time.
This time all in 1080p.
Surprisingly the HVX is not too bad. The Canon has so much contrast.

It's a very personal thing as to which one is better. My choice would be the HVX everytime. I just hate the image on the 5D/2.

I have a letus with my hv30 and sometimes I have some noise in loo light conditions.

In all 5D footage I never saw any noise since I saw your video.
Do you have any noise on the raw footage for the 5D ?

sorry, i had to grade the clips to get it a bit similiar, to see if it´s possible to use both cameras.
(and casue some directors get twangy bout the "plastic/digital" look of the Canon)

Yeah I would say the HVX has an over all better image....but what do you expect with the price differences in the two setups hehe The HVX has awesome colors and gets less of that overly digital vibrance that most HD cameras get.

The 5d is still a great alternative for filmmakers on a low budget tho....plus an awesome for photography of course heh.

Oh and also the low light performance would be a bigger issue with the HVX setup....but easily fixed with creativity with light source.
