Just switched the old video out with the HD version. Man I love HD...
  • Rudolf Boogerman plus 4 months ago
Yes, thanks to HD, the quality of video on the web is now superior to standard TV and DVD. I still can't believe my eyes when I watch HD movies on Vimeo or YouTube.
Takes forever to upload, but it is worth it :-)

    I like 1:55
  • two twelve 4 months ago
    Why do you like 1:55?
  • EpicMovies 4 months ago
Because this greenyellow + hotpink is more balanced combination in my opinion! You could add simply a pink volume contour on this green hieroglyph.
  • two twelve 4 months ago
Yeah, I hear you... thats why I went that route first but it didnt jump out enough.

How the heck did you do this? :o
  • two twelve 4 months ago
    Watch the video again... ;-)
  • ProjektDaze 4 months ago
Did you have plastic sheets cut out the way you needed them? That seems like it'd be hard xD
  • two twelve 4 months ago
Yep, I start by drawing each layer of color onto sheets of acetate and then cut them out by hand (I think this one has something like 12 layers). Thats the tough part that you dont see in the video... I make a couple paintings on paper to paste up on the street and then 1 canvas and trash the stencils. :-)

    Very nice work!

I was wondering what you put on top of the stencils? Right before you spray the paint on to it. I am using spray adhesive for my work, but this seems to work better!
  • two twelve 4 months ago
I experiment with different types of cloth to add texture to the layers.
  • artofmusic 4 months ago
ah, that's it. I thought it was some sort of adhesive layer. Like tape but less sticky-er hehe.
  • two twelve 4 months ago
I spray the adhesive on the fabric... :-) Good luck, id love to see what your doing.

    here's something:)
  • two twelve 4 months ago
Cool stuff man, I used to just spray the adhesive directly on the stencils but having sticky stencils is no bueno. Good luck with the fabric.
