My first short movie made with the fantastic Canon EOS 5D Mark II. I was just playing around to se the quality and usercontrols.
This clip was shot all manual with the Canon EF-24-70 2.8 and edited in iMovie. I used a tripod for the shots as well.

Colours look very vibrant and the the picture is lovely and sharp. Do you connect the camera directly to IMovie or convert the files first?

Det har de sådan set lavet i 5D :-) Nej man mangler naturligvis fuldblods auto focus men synes ikke det betyder noget. Man sætter jo bare blænden til 9 - 11 og vupti har du så stor skarphed at det faktisk er nemt. Desuden er den store skærm med VGA så tydelig at fokus er en leg. Man kan i et snuptag zoome helt ind på skærmen hvis man er i tvivl om hvor fokus er. Det er virkelig cool. Mens man filmer kan man for øvrig bare trykke på udløseren og skyde billeder i 21mp hvis man gerne vil have både billede og video. Kan varmt anbefale dette kamera.

Thanks. The files from the 5D goes directly in to iMovie. It is just so easy. The editing is fast and all in real time (as you know). Quick and easy.
