Final Edited Film, "Burial Site": vimeo.com/5352858
This portion is the second of a three part short film. I will be shooting the beginning, narration for this 1950s flashback and the end of this short in the near future.
A few notes on this portion:
All shot in one day, from 11am to 5pm. No breaks for food or water. Non-stop film making. No script.
Shot in a location with no electricity. All light is either from daylight streaming into farm house or light from the single oil lamp or candle.
This film was shot in 1080p high definition at 30 frames per second with a Canon 5dmk2 digital SLR camera.
I shot about 16GB worth of footage. The footage is untreated, ungraded and I removed all saturation resulting in a black and white stock.
All audio is from the 5dmk2 built-in mic. You can hear my breathing and the lens motors as I pull focus on the Canon prime lens. The final finished audio treatment will include all sound recorded on the Zoom H4 portable stereo recorder.
The lenses I used were the Canon 24mm f2.8 EF and the lovely Nikon 55mm f1.2 (with Canon EF adapter ring).
This video is provate. Please do not post this to Facebook or MySpace until I finish the film. At that point you can post it anywhere you want! Thanks for watching!
