This is the second part of a talk given by Leila Khaled at Cafe Bol on Oct 14, 2012.
Leila Khaled is based in Jordan and we're in Lahore so the simplest, visa-hassle-free, eco-friendly way to communicate was via video-conferencing.
Our honourable guest spoke about the experience of having to leave her home with her family in 1948, her subsequent life as a refugee in Lebanon and how these experiences left a permanent imprint on her mind and led her to join the armed resistance against Zionist occupation when she grew up.
The talk was attended by around 30 to 35 young people, mostly students at local universities.
