Cultural history teacher Lea Abrams, of the Ross Lower School, has been selected as one of 21 Teachers of the Future by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Throughout the 2012–2013 school year, Lea will lead an NAIS online educational discussion forum on the topic of Mindful Practices.
The Teachers of the Future program is designed to allow innovative teachers to share their expertise. Educators throughout the United States were selected based on having demonstrated excellence in environmentalism, globalism, equity and justice, and/or use of technology.
