Marina's second release on Neon Gold Records is the amazing Crown Jewels EP and this is the incredible new video for the EP's lead single "I Am Not A Robot". Directed by famed London photographer Rankin, the grueling 16 hour shoot involved three full body paint jobs and required Marina to memorize and perform the song's vocals in reverse. The result, as you can see above, is pure magic.

    I don't get why she had to memorize the song in reverse. But, awesome song. Amazing video.

    there are shots in the video where she had to sing in reverse and the footage was reversed on the timeline. watch carefully at 00:35 how the hair is blown - it's in reverse.
