The Andalusia Ballet ( AndalusiaBallet.com ) presented their SPRING SHOWCASE 2009 performance at the Dixon Center, located on the campus of LBW College in Andalusia, AL, on May 22 and 23, 2009. The Andalusia Ballet Association was founded in 1982 and was officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1984, with Meryane Martin Murphy as artistic director. In 2007, the Andalusia Ballet was named an Alabama Treasure by the State of Alabama. Andalusia Ballet, the official performing group sponsored by the Association, is made up of senior and junior companies. Young dancers are selected by audition each August for the upcoming season.

In "I Got A Woman", Carly (senior company) and Cameron (apprentice) dance to the music of Ray Charles.
