Cycling around New Zealand

In 2010 I traveled for a year through 8 countries spread around the world. During this year I spent 22 weeks in New Zealand, 19 of which I traveled by bike, exploring this country from north to south along the west coast and back from south to north along the east coast and center of NZ. I started and finished in Auckland, for a total of 5200km cycling kilometers with all of my luggage on the bike.

Sometimes bike rides were interrupted for long hikes of a few days.
