Hurricane Ike hit Galveston island on the night of September 12th, 2008.
This is what it looked, the day after...
The devastation on the island was horrifying, and the damage to the island's infrastructure, and property was extensive.
Its hurricane season again, and everyone is a little nervous. Many parts of the island are still being reconstructed. Here's keeping my fingers crossed that the follow up video (when we cross the one-year mark) will show a much better scene.
