If it is passion that energizes all we do in this great work, we can look forward to our Savior and Lord doing things in and through us beyond what we could ever possible imagine that will leave us in awe, wonder and praise to Him. It strikes me - if Orthopathos - passion - describes who we are and who we are becoming, and I believe it must happen, then it marks the end of an era, in this respect: for decades Christians, who have been known as Presbyterians, have often been called God's frozen chosen. My friends, those days are over. They must be over, if we are going to be faithful, effective, and obedient to our Savior and Lord in the 21st Century. We have work to do. Great work. His work! Let's do it with all of our hearts and souls and minds.
