This is a remake of a piece I did in 2004.

I came to think of this piece when I was asked to make a contribution to, for a couple of reasons:
- The idea of the sine wave as a carrier of time never really left my mind.
- The fact that every sound we hear is possible to reproduce if you just find the correct numbers of sine waves and their correct relation to each other.
- And that I always say, when trying to describe the quality of a sine wave sound: "you know.. it sounds like the tones you hear when they run the test screen on TV."

The test screen footage is from a VHS recording from 1989.
