In a little under 2 weeks I:
Using a plate I had shot last year, tracked the footage in Boujou.
Imported tracking data into Maya and modeled geometry based upon my plans.
Took a central still render of geometry into Photoshop to paint over.
Projected painting onto geometry in Maya.
Modeled creature in Maya and then exported geometry to Mudbox.
Sculpted and painted creature in Mudbox, exported color, bump, reflection, specular, and displacement maps.
Created custom render layers in Maya (due to difficulties with transparencies and alpha maps messing up the Maya render layer presets).
Rigged and animated creature in Maya.
Roto work on foreground elements of plate and final comp in Nuke.
