DUTCH IS NOT SUBTITELED (yet)

A disturbing and funny pseudo documentary made on occasion for the exhibition 'The last days of socialism' in cultural centre Meneer de Wit, 2006.

The film depicts the efforts of a reporter from a (fictional) broadcast station TV7 from El Salvador to get a glimpse of the current social and (multi) cultural situation in Holland a few years after the killing of Theo van Gogh. She's gets in contact with artist/filmmaker Wim Jongedijk, who draws the reporter into the warm but mildly xenofobic microcosmos of the filmmakers family life and his artistic focus on personal issues.

The original is 40 minutes, this version is 27 minutes.
