The Community Casual Labour Pool (CCLP) is a free service that matches employers with workers looking for short term, casual positions. This short, three-minute story tell's Dave story and his work with Victoria employer Dodd's Furniture and Mattress.

In 2007, 915 individuals were referred to casual work through the Labour Pool. Fifteen of these individuals found permanent, full-time employment and two found permanent, part-time employment. 2007 generated $146,128 income for Labour Pool workers. These jobs and incomes have a real and immediate impact on the lives of Cool Aid’s clients and our community.

This story provided courtesy Shaw TV Victoria. Shaw videos are interviews with Cool Aid staff and clients. Cool Aid worked closely with Shaw to determine the subjects of the short pieces and Cool Aid lined up all the interviews for the shoots.
