In preparation for my upcoming travels I wanted to test my timelapse workflow.

Canon 5D mkIII & 24-105mm f4 EF Lens > M-RAW stills to CF > Nexto ND2730 > PC > LRTimelapse 2.1 > Lightroom 4.2

Focal Length: 35mm
Aperture: f4.0 (wide open)
Exposure: 1 sec
Interval: 3 sec

8GB Sandisk compact flash card allowed me to shoot 549 M-RAW stills, of which I could use only 400 (as using unregistered version of LRTimelapse)

Lessons learned: Using a carbon fibre tripod is good for weight but needs to be more planted before shooting - perhaps attach a small sandbag from underneath. Also, shoot for longer.

Next test: Buy LRTimelapse and test a 4K output using MRAW, and export at higher bitrate.
