THIS IS...
"We’re all amazed by Ken Block’s latest Gymkhana video, but there is an undercurrent of those that feel the real drifting scene started underground and that is where the real stars are. This video by Format67 is a return to the “running from the cops” days for most of us, when we would find an empty parking lot, have our fun and quickly dart away before getting in trouble." Prev week
what wast his filmed on?
anyway, love tones and all post work
Perfect work as usual format67 !!!!
But whats wrong with a Ken block ? and all I saw was some short slides and donut. Really was expecting more agresive stuff !
On another note, I appreciate the film and it's message but didn't connect with the amount of camera movement, props though.
Editing was great, if only a little over-edited. 1:20 intro for a 3:40 video seems a little excessive in my opinion.
Its a realdeal man no that s14 =)
Another godlike movie, amaizing views linked with proper music...

Nice!
This is no ability to "drift" your car to the right.
This is no way to impress people that can actually drive.
Sorry, but as much of an attention whore as Ken Block may be, at least he can actually drive. This is just a sad attention grab. The ONE little half-second clip where the car is sliding to the right it looks like it's the middle of a spin.
nice try
Okay, by using this as your video description, even though it's someone else's words, you validate them as your own.
First, KEN BLOCK'S VIDEO WAS NOT A *DRIFT* VIDEO and he's NOT A DRIFTER.
Secondly, DUH, drifting was started underground. Who the hell doesn't know that already? The origins of drifting are mentioned in just about every media clip about a drift event. We know it.
Your video skills are far beyond dumb "attack" videos like this. Grow up a little.
Just because you can film better then Ken Block's guys can doesnt mean you can drive better then him.
THIS IS NO KEN BLOCK = WE ARE NOT AS GOOD AS HIM
THIS IS NO IMPREZA = OUR CAR CAN'T MATCH HIS
WE DON'T WEAR DC'S = ARE ARE NOT AS FAMOUS AS HIM
Am I the only one who sees them admitting that they are not better than him, yet they like the sport to it ground roots? Seriously people, use your brain to THINK, not to sprout hate and faceless fanboyism.
Why dont you use your brain to think...
I think same as:
Stephen Brooks, Guilherme Iberê, Quentin Dubsky, Dan Bartolucci.
And to say that he didn't work his ass off to get where he is today is ignorant as well... I'm sure DC was just an instant over night success, and it didn't take him years of his life to get it off the ground, and it sure does suck that he's enjoying the payoff from his hard work,
and he's giving a lot of good light to non-Nascar automotive sports like Rally America etc...
...But the editing of the footage is good.
Just left me a bit unsatisfied with the driving displays.
maybe a second video is in order?
Give the driving for pros, who can show off. I mean CAN show off.
So my point is... AWD or RWD (hell, even fwd at a point of modification) are driftable. It's all about the driver and what theyre comfortable in. Please dont tell me AWD is tough to drift either, cause you have a hell of a lot more control when youre at full lock.
I envy those who have watched this and have cameras and make their own videos from scratch / I envy those who had expirienced the feeling from this video from inside their own cars. Only these people can fully understand and feel this masterpiece. Not a transition more or not enough... Yes, it is a perfect piece, no doubt.
