If a book or other item (DVD, video, or magazine for example) is not in the collection of your local Alberta public or post-secondary (college or university) library, you can use TAL Online to see if it is in the collection of another Alberta Library. If it is, you (as an Alberta resident, with a valid library card) may be able to borrow it from the collection of the other Alberta library. Certain restrictions may apply.
This video provides a quick overview of how to use TAL Online to search for items and how to request items from other libraries in Alberta.
TAL stands for 'The Alberta Library.'
