The third and final gathering in the 2012 series of Food and Farming Forums
hosted by Marcy Smothers and Clark Wolf was held Thursday, November 15, from 5 to 7:30 pm in the main dining room of the recently opened Santa Rosa Junior College Culinary Center.

The Late Harvest Farm Forum featured a stellar line up of guest speakers covering a wide range of
experience and activity relating to food and farming across Sonoma County and the United States, including beekeeper Serge Labesque; teacher Wendy Krupnick; columnist Gaye LeBaron; Chuck Levine of Jack London State Park; Jennifer Bice of Redwood Hill Creamery; duck farmer Jim Reichardt; wine educator and radio personality Ziggy Eschliman; Rian Fried, a green financial advisor; Mo McElroy, a tourism expert; and Michael Salinger, SRJC's hardworking culinary
director.

The Farm Forums, which began in late 2010, are a part of the newly established Sonoma County Food
and Farming Project (SCFFP), under the umbrella of Ag Innovations Network, which seeks to increase
awareness of and encourage participation in small-scale food and farming projects in Sonoma County. The
project will work to promote a dialogue of diverse discussions within the community about the local food
system.
