Visit the Groninger Museum!

The Groninger Museum is build in the water of the Verbindings Canal in Groningen, a town in the northern Netherlands. The new Groninger Museum is not merely a casing for art, it is a work of art in itself. The ultimate design by the Italian Alessandro Mendini and the three guest architects Philippe Starck, Michele de Lucchi, and Coop Himmelb[l]au was completed in 1994. The museum shows modern and contemporary art, fashion and design, as well as historic arts.

After the renovation in de summer of 2010 the Groninger Museum has a new Info Center, Museumrestaurant and Lounge.
