(full credits at end of film) This film was written, produced, directed and edited by Julia Aronson, Sarah Goetz, Charlie McSpadden, Dani Potter and myself over a two week period in Arezzo, Italy under the guidance of Josh Gibson and Shambhavi Kaul as part of the Summer Arts & Festival 2009 program at the Accademia dell'Arte. It was shot using a pair of Panasonic PVX-200 cameras fitted with Letus35 adaptors and Nikon block lenses. The film features performances by a motley crew of incredible performers who wholly made themselves available for our vision, many of them even showing up for a call time at five a.m. The idea arose from a story about an original bandit in Arezzo, told to some of us by Scott McGehee. The exceptional generosity of Alessandro Brizzolari, the Wild West Exhibition mastermind, who gave far more than we could've asked for, and who was an extraordinary host during the shoots in the exhibition.
