The British Army's Royal Dragoon Guards observed Remembrance Day at Lashkar Gah Training Center in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Nov. 11, 2012. Remembrance Day started in Commonwealth countries as an observance of the dead from World War 1, but soon came to be observed for all fallen from both world wars and other conflicts since.
