The creation of this material has begun on the beach. I just took a shoot of the sea floor with my camera, then some other tools were involved in process. I used Imagesynth 2 from Pixologic to generate a seamles color texture of it. As next step the set of material textures (AO, normal, specular, displacement) was generated in Shadermap 2 by Rendering Systems Inc. Water caustics was done with Caustic Generator from Dual Heights and blended as lightmap into the material.
