On June 13, 2009 another dream of home ownership is realized when the third house in Hingham built by South Shore Habitat for Humanity is dedicated. That is when the keys were given to Amanda and Marc and their family.

This home was a 9 year journey. The land was secured from the town of Hingham in 2000 but some issues thru the land courts did not allow clearance to build until 2008. Once the OK was received, the construction began and about 9 months later this beautiful home was ready to turn over to the family. It is an example of love and dedication on the part of the Hingham Local Partnership Committee and all the hundreds of volunteers over the years including the ones who built the home with their hands.
