  • Should make an Ad out of it :-)
  • Positive Pictures plus 2 years ago
    it is...
    kind of...
    taday = 317K views...
if this is not an Ad... I don't know what it is ;)
  •
  • Jeff Dougherty plus 3 years ago
And you wonder why so many trees are being cut down.

    Heh.. I kid, I kid.

I love this. Very creative idea and setup. Nice work.
  • Jason Price 3 years ago
i agree what a waste of paper
  • Eric Hittinger 3 years ago
Given how the rest of the world uses (wastes) paper, the couple reams used for this video doesn't seem that terrible...
  • Brennan L. 3 years ago
    I have to agree.

It's not a waste if you're making something wonderful. Offices waste paper simple by printing off emails they don't really need.

This is printing paper and making something that everyone across the world can enjoy.

    Kudos, I loved it.
  • Anil Bayrak 3 years ago
Nice ad, however.. for a second I thought all of that was virtual... They could have made it virtual (some gfx) instead of printing so many papers indeed.

@Maria "paper is recyclabe so theres actually no waste ;))"
I don't think thats completely true :) Plus what about the amount of wasted ink then?

Same goes to the ad of Aquarius with all the wasted water. Shame.. as if they couldn't come up with something else.
  • Jeff Dougherty plus 3 years ago
Now that I've watched it a couple times, you'll notice they aren't actually printing that many. They just reuse the shot or piece of paper. It's nothing to get into an argument about. :)
  • Jason Price 3 years ago
yes it is i am pissed you ruining the world
sad they have nothing else to do
  • MANCE FILMS 3 years ago
    Very cool!

Jason, a creative work is wasteful in itself, whether you're wasting paint repainting a landscape setting, film reshooting a scene, paper rewriting a sonnet, or electricity using Photoshop to correct lighting a photo. Everyone is a perfectionist when it comes to his or her own work, so you're never going to have a piece that isn't somehow wasteful in its creation.
  • Cooper 3 years ago
What's the definition of 'waste'? Is it making something awesome the entire world can enjoy? You shouldn't beat down on this, just because they don't print text doesn't mean it's a waste. If they use it, it's not waste. And they did. They used in a very creative way. And @Jeff & @Maria are both completely right.
  • nickpetrella 2 years ago
if you're so mad about them wasting paper go out and plant a couple trees. seriously, think of it this way - that paper is going to exist whether or not they made this. it's not like the paper company made extra paper this year because of this. they are going to make the same amount of paper regardless. mine as well make something cool with it. but seriously, go plant some trees.
  • Myong Choi plus 2 years ago
Paper can't always be recycled. The type of ink the guys in the ad used would determine whether or not they could recycle the paper. From my understanding, some inks contaminate the paper, so it's no use.

Anyways, its an amazing piece of work.
  • Jeremy Cole plus 1 year ago
Nice piece of work. Whether it was a waste of ink/paper or whatever, I've now just wasted 5 minutes of my day reading through the comments. Well done Matt and Tom, you make the Kingston studios look nice
