The following documentary is the first completed project from the Veteran Documentary Corps on Scott Castle, a Marine who served three tours in Iraq. This piece exemplifies the highly stylized look of our mini-docs, including intimate interviews paired with various b-roll scenes from Scott's experiences in Iraq, including combat footage, his return home, and his time spent working out in the gym.

Scott Castle served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. While stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, with 1st Battalion 5th Marines 1st Marine Division he served three combat tours in Iraq. After being honorably discharged in 2006 Scott earned an associate’s degree in liberal studies from the Community College of San Mateo. Attending San Francisco State University he then earned a bachelor’s degree in technical and professional writing.
