This is a spot that I was contracted to work on last year by Olek Lyzwanski of Motion Design (motiondesign-inc.com/). I was responsible for the modeling in this spot, including the helmet, Leatt brace, airbag, padding, generating normal/alpha/displacement maps for the wire mesh grilles, carbon fiber, etc. Aside from a couple parts which remained tesselated CAD data (which I also handled), everything you see was modeled and UV'd by me. This was all polygonal modeling in 3dsmax, and it was very difficult due to the reflections, material (carbon fiber) and macro-like lensing of the spot to get this model perfect.
