Good idea; I think 70s film [at least the disposable cameras] was a little more peachish.
    Great feel.

Hur har du gjort konverteringen till 24p? Fungerar ganska bra när det inte rör sig för mycket

Skulle velat se mer handhållet - hade passat perfekt i sammanhanget!

That's good, but I don't really like the music, and the film is globally stereotyped
  • Maarten Toner plus 5 months ago
omg, globally stereotyped.. we must call the WHO!

Does this mean there are local stereotypes too? The things we learn on vimeo.. amazing!
  • Tracey Lee 4 months ago
LOL!!! Hey why do you think stereotypes even exist? They used to dress this way man!!!

    Groovy and far out man.

Nice seventies look, the only comment on your videos I can make is: shoot more or cut the music shorter :) Otherwise you end up spreading it thinner then you should and thats a shame.

Anyway, looks really nice, love the natural feel to the whole thing, very free love :P

Thankyou :) - I agree, would have been good with some more shots, this kind of sunlight is very rare here in Stockholm and we shot as much as we could as the sun faded. More cameras next time ;) Anna

you got the '70 look, definitely!!
for other side I think than the way you shot it, could works more like a commercial of feminine product, than a natural or documentary style of a group.
i don't know what kind of film or footage did you look for,...but definitely it closer to a spot than a documentary footage.

    the best,

Very nice indeed, keep up the good work. What i would say is try using a Black Pro Mist filter, i personally like using a 1/2 BPM but experiment yourself. Be that little bit nicer and more 70's if you took the harsh edges of digital away and made them softer with a BPM.

I think you would like this, great grading too youtube.com/watch?v=ybWxQPvOMC8&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fvodpod%2Ecom%2Fwatch%2F1805522%2Dpulp%2Dcommercial&feature=player_embedded

When this is good, it is very good...but as Maarten (above) points out, Anna, the video is a shade off the pace.

However, the casting is grrrrrreat!!!!! and I love the colour grading.

Conforming to 24p works great so I also see no problem.
  • Anna Thorbjörnsson plus 4 months ago

Good 70's look... but, pixalation was not a 70's look. I get a lot of pixalation in the version shown...

How do you get the overcrank effect - some function in the NLE I presume?
