from the overhead shot you could tell that it wasn't really that close (4 bike lengths or so) but you gotta give it up for tyler farrar though. clearly one of the fastest guys around and perhaps more impressively a young rider who knows how to stay on cavendish's wheel in the final K when the sprinters are elbowing and bouncing off each other like pinball. if he stays patient i'm sure he can win a stage this year.
