Visited Gay Pride in London on Saturday (04/07/09), mainly to see how it compares against the New York parade I visited with friends on the last leg of our visit to New York.

Further photos of the parade preparation can be found on my Flickr set:

The parade started in Baker Street, which is where all the preparations for floats, costumes and so on were taking place, or so it appeared. I say that because it was literally a 2 minute walk from one end of the street to the other and we saw everything as there was nothing else further. Pretty poor I thought. New York was a stark contrast in size, atmosphere and everything else.

Needless to say, me and my friend decided to leave after spending an hour and half as he wanted to buy an iPhone, so we did.

Shot with a Canon 500D.
