A quick test of the Canon EOS C100 at sunset on a cloudy day at the Southport Broadwater Parklands on the Gold Coast, Australia. This is in no way a real "test", I just took the camera out because it was cloudy and getting dark and was my first opportunity to try out the Ninja properly.
Recorded with an Atomos Ninja 2 in ProRes 422 (HQ) to a 240Gb SSD, mostly ISO 850 but some shots up to 12800 (the last one). Canon 24-105mm f4 L and 35mm f1.4 L lenses.
My initial tests with the Ninja show some image quality improvement over the AVCHD, probably not much to justify the extra spend if you don't need it: the AVCHD is pretty good. However the main improvement is with the workflow into FCPX if you use it... no transcoding, can import all the files automatically using a single XML file import, and the files are progressive and do not require pulldown. This saved a bit of time as no background rendering is required at all.
