Digging a Hole and Sitting in It, 2005, was a two hour performance on the front lawn of California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA. The performance had five performers and five holes. Each performer was given a question to ponder aloud in a continuously repeating monologue for the duration of the piece: "How did I get here?" "How will I get out of here?" "What should I have for lunch?" "Who will come and help me?" and "Do I want to leave?"
