Shot from the pier over the water at Des Moines, WA on the 4th of July and the occasion of the city's 50th anniversary, I placed the camera next to a set of 3-inch mortars just prior to firing the show. So, you can see debris, smoke and flames from this unique point of view. This show took us one short afternoon followed by the better part of a day to set up and about 18 minutes to shoot.
